WASHINGTON, D.C. — The “No Kings 2.0” protests on Oct. 18 were funded by foundations belonging to billionaire philanthropist George Soros, Asheville television station WLOS.com reported on Oct. 18, citing a report from The National News Desk.
The NND is a daily American television news program produced by the Sinclair Broadcast Group, which owns WLOS.
“One of the groups is the Open Society Foundations, founded by the major Democratic donor,” NND noted.
“Through a fund, the foundation issued a $3 trillion grant to the Indivisible Organization that was good for two years ‘to support the grantee’s social welfare activities.’
Meanwhile, a report from Fox News stated, “The Indivisible Organization is ‘managing data and communications with participants’ for the ‘No Kings’ protests.”
What’s more, Open Society Foundations has revealed that Soros has given over $32 billion of his personal funds to foundations.
The Indivisible Foundation also reportedly funded a network that funded anti-Israel protests on college campuses.
An Open Society Foundations spokesperson told Fox News Digital: “We support a wide range of independent organizations that work to deepen civic engagement through peaceful democratic participation, a hallmark of any vibrant society and a right protected by the Constitution.” .
“Our grantees make their own decisions about their work, consistent with the law and the terms of their grant agreements....”
