HENDERSONVILLE — City Council here voted unanimously Jan. 5 to install a community splash pad at Patton Park.

The construction of a new splash pad at the park has been a major campaign pledge of Mayor pro tem Lyndsey Simpson and Councilwoman Jennifer Hensley.

The Hendersonville Kiwanis Club -— as part of its 100th anniversary celebration — has agreed to partner with the City of Hendersonville to raise funds for the splash pad.
