ASHEVILLE, N.C. — The Asheville Symphony will open its 2025-26 season with its annual Symphony in the Park concert at 7 p.m. Aug. 31 in Pack Square Park, 80 Court Plaza, downtown.
Specifically, an event promotion stated, “Join the Asheville Symphony for a spectacular night of music under the stars at the beloved Symphony in the Park, presented by Givens Communities and returning for its second year as part of Boomtown FestAVL!
“This year’s concert features two standout guest artists. Internationally acclaimed soprano Elizabeth Baldwin – praised by the San Francisco Examiner as ‘ferociously talented’ and winner of the 2024 American Traditions Vocal Competition – headlines the evening with a breathtaking performance of opera and Broadway classics.”
Non-ticketed attendees are urged to bring lawnchairs and/or blankets — and the event is open to the public with free admission,’
However, for “preferred seating,” which costs $100, visit online at www.AshevilleSymphony.org. (“A ticketed seat for Symphony in the Park includes a camping chair in the reserved VIP section, which is directly behind sponsor tables, and close to the Pack Square stage,” a promotion noted.)
