MAULDIN, S.C. — The Tams, an iconic Carolina beach music band, will perform from 6:30 to 9 p.m. June 12 in the amphitheater adjoining the Mauldin Cultural Center, 101 East Butler Road, here.
The concert is part of Mauldin’s 2026 Amp’d Up Fridays, a weekly outdoor concert series that has succeeded its long-time Beachin’ Fridays series.
The Tams top hits include “Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy” (which sold more than 1 million records), “Hey Girl, Don’t Bother Me,” “What Kind of Fool (Do You Think I Am)?” and “I’ve Been Hurt.”
While The Tams are best-known for their Carolina beach music songs, the group’s concert repertoire is billed as also including rhythm and blues, Motown, oldies, country, rock and Tams’ originals.
Food and drink trucks will be serving on site.
Attendees are urged to bring lawnchairs and/or blankets, Admission is free.
