NEWBERRY, S.C. — The film “It’s a Wonderful Life,” starring James Stewart and Donna Reed, will be screened three times — at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. — Dec. 12 at the Newberry Opera House, 1201 McKibben Street, here.

The film is billed as “a timeless holiday classic that follows George Bailey, a man on the brink of despair, who discovers the profound impact of his life on those around him with the help of a guardian angel...
