Grand Funk Railroad to chug through hits Nov. 2 in Greeneville

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. — The Grand Funk Railroad will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 2 in the Niswonger Performing Arts Cemter, 212 Tusculum Boulevard, here.

Regarding the group, David Fricke of Rolling Stone Magazine stated the following:

“Grand Funk Railroad is extremely excited to be touring in 2024, marking a 55-year milestone. This top-selling American rock group of the ‘70s is “comin’ to your town to help you party it down.” 

“Original members Don Brewer (vocals and drums) and Mel Schacher (bass) lead a five-piece band of rock veterans who carry on the tradition and hits, while creating a new chapter in the legacy of Grand Funk Railroad.

“After playing to millions of fans on the band’s tours from 1996 to 2023, Grand Funk’s The Loco-Motion Tour 2024 will continue to reach both new and long-time fans.”
