NEWBERRY, S.C. — Marshall Charloff & Purple Xperience will perform in a musical salute to Prince at 8 p.m. May 4 at the Newberry Opera House, 1201 McKibben St., here.

Marshall Charloff & Purple Xperience are “a tribute band that celebrates the life and music of the legendary musician Prince. Hailing from Prince’s hometown of Minneapolis with incredible attention to detail, this group brings Prince’s music to life in a way that is both nostalgic and electrifying,” the NOH stated in a press release.
