GREENVILLE, S.C.  —  The subgroup Rando’s “Back to school edition,” which is part of the group Randomonium, will perform music for listening and/or dancing at 7 p.m. Aug. 18 at Holland Park, 813 Laurens Road, here.

Regarding the eclectic group, its website stated, “Randomonium is the perfect kind of strange — a mystical cocktail of wondrously varied songs from all decades and genres, enhanced by the addition of some exotic/exotically prosaic instruments, and presented with love, humour and a touch of cheek.

“We love playing music for real music-lovers, and are grateful to our fans, friends and families for their amazing support.”

The genres of music the band plays include classic rock, pop, rock, alternative, variety, country and funk, according to Randomonium’s website.

More specifically, another of the Greenville-based band’s websites stated that Randomoniun performs “all the nostalgia music from the ‘80s, ‘90s, and ‘00s.”

As for the concert venue, Holland Park is billed as “a beautiful green-space with picnic tables shaded by 100-year-old oak trees” — and the band said of it, “We are really stoked to return to Holland Park”
