From Staff Reports

WALHALLA, S.C. —  James Gregory will perform his comedy show at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 6 at the Walhalla Performing Arts Center, 101 East North Broad St., here.

Gregory, billed as “the funniest man in America,” has offered a performance touted as “clean comedy” for about 40 years.

An event promotion stated that “James returns to the WPAC and creates an evening of non-stop laughter with a wry sense of the absurd, a Southern accent and universal storytelling.

“The ridiculous, the common and sometimes even the simplest events all become hilarious in the hands of this master storyteller and world-class comedian.

“James’ success, like his comedy, is the direct result of the values he grew up with. And now, 20-something years later, it is this unique brand of humor that packs the crowds into his sold-out shows. The absence of vulgarity sets James apart — and his stories are a carefully crafted art.”
