FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. — The Sounds of Summer weekly concert series suddenly was cancelled by the City of Fountain Inn, effective just before the Aug. 7 concert that was to feature the Vinyl Junkies band, as the city cited safety concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The band posted on its Facebook page its apologies for the cancellation and stated, “Friends, please be safe and, above all, stay healthy.”
