The Susan Cowsill Band performed in the evening of Oct. 14 at Feed & Seed in Fletcher. The band, which is from New Orleans, opened the music venue several years ago. Cowsill (second from left) was a member of The Cowsills, a hugely popular American pop group from the 1960s and early ‘70s. In the first set, the group played all original songs, except for the finale. To the delight of the crowd, the group ended the set with a rousing rendition of “The Rain, The Park and Other Things,” a 1967 million-seller for The Cowsills. Daily Planet Staff Photo
