Yeah! I get it. Gas prices are too high.
I also get it that Democrats are promising to return us to “affordability.” That’s an oxymoron (“Democrat affordability”).
We have heard the Democrats’ wind blow before. They had their chance at affordability, beginning Jan. 20, 2021 and ending Jan. 20, 2025.
I went to the store (Ingles) on the latter date. I wanted to note Democrats’ affordability through the price of grade “A” large eggs.
My recall was they cost about $5.58 a dozen. It’s been about 22 months since then, and eggs now cost $1.58.
If I am lying, and you have store receipts… please correct my figures.
Democrats had their chance at “affordability” during the Biden era. They produced 21 percent inflation over that period.
According to one source (Old North News — reliable?), the average North Carolina household spent an extra $27,000 in extra inflation cost during that period. I guess that’s what they mean by “Democrat affordability?”
I do know that, at present, gasoline prices are too high — and there is a reason for that. We are in a war with Iran. During the Democrats’ affordability era (‘21-’25) gasoline prices rose from $2.28 a gallon (regular) to $4.50 a gallon (recalling).
Democrat affordability? Why? For what reason?
To sum this up, if you want to go back to “Democrat affordability,” then vote for Democrat candidates for Congress. Iran is encouraging you to do that.
If you want to protect your 2024 presidential vote, believe high gas prices are temporary, want to end the 50-year murder in the Middle East, and protect America cities (mostly Democrat) from nuclear attack, then vote for Republicans for Congress.
As Republicans, we know the value of lying Democrat polls.
As Republicans, we know the value of lying Democrat polls. They always have us losing.
We can win this mid-term election, protect our 2024 vote, and protect the legacy we started by giving the president a Congress that will work with him.
I don’t think we need another Pelosi/Schiff Democrat-led Circus Congress, with all of the attached clowns.
Gasoline prices will come down after we protect American cities. Vote to do that — elect Republicans.
