Llike everybody else, I am frustrated with the seven-week ceasefire — and the direction of the war in Iran.
I agree, as someone stated, that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are excellent Persian rug merchants.
You can’t negotiate with them. They are far more experienced in ‘“bulls--t” than you. Further more, they are excellent liars.
Then there is the problem of who exactly is calling the shots?
Who is in charge in Iran?
It reminds me of the Greek story of Hercules killing the Hydra. Every time you cut off a head, TWO replace it.
Cancer patients have this problem: How to kill the infected cells without damaging the good ones?
We are not at war with the Iranian people. We are at war with a corrupt Iranian regime that promotes terror throughout the world.
That regime is hiding among the people, using them as a shield. The people are not armed and, thus, can’t finish the job of regime removal.
To me the Democrats seem (relatively) silent regarding this issue. It is hard to attack the basis for the war. The Iranian regime was on the cusp of developing a nuclear bomb.
The facts are proven, if the regime had the opportunity to do so, they had the missile resources to deliver a bomb 2,500 miles into Europe.
With Chinese missile support in short time, that delivery could be made to cities in the United States.
Of course they only had material to make 10 bombs.
I wonder which 10 United States cities (most likely, Democrat strongholds) they would choose? Is my logic flawed? It’s kind of hard to say “Orange Man bad” when he is putting his legacy on the line to defend you.
I have a hard time believing one of those 10 bombs would be coming to Hendersonville or Red State strongholds.
It’s also hard to say “Orange Man bad,” when he calls a ceasefire of the Iranian War for seven weeks — at his peril — to protect the Iranian people and their future prosperity by limiting infrastructure damage.
It is the same dilemma faced by former Defense Secretary Robert McNamara: “How much evil must you do in order to do good?”
It seems President Trump is doing all he can to limit the evil, while still protecting the American people.
The regime (the “rug merchants”) are under siege. I made my choice long ago. I am going to stay the course and back President Trump.
I believe it is a matter of time until Trump wins again. The Democrats know this also. They are reluctant to admit it, but history has proven they are little more than rug merchants themselves. That may be cause for their relative silence.
The proof of winning will be drastically falling gas prices.
The bottom line is gas prices have not reached the highs they did under the Biden (Grandpop’s) administration.
My choice (of Trump’s negatiating ability) is a better one than those of “Autopen” (Joe Biden).
