“You need to think about how you will pay for children before you have them.”

Special to the Daily Planet

I’ve got a crush on British political comedian Katie Hopkins.

She’s got to be one of the funniest, cleverest and courgeous people on the planet.

You can find her on Facebook and other places. It’s worth the search.

Brassy, honest, direct, sarcastic, creative and bright as heck, she does an amazingly impressive job of attacking the mycotrophic left in her home country – the U.K. – and other “lost in liberal” busily self-destructing countries.

She actually got arrested in the U.K. for calling herself a spaz.

She’s also a boldly open Trump enthusiast. That’s not a popular political position there or in certain circles here.

Whenever Trump takes his own brassy steps forward in support of freedom loving, patriotic, and real-world thinkers, she jumps up and down, claps enthusiastically, toasts with a glass of wine, and yells out her enthusiasm for the guy she lovingly calls “Trumpy-Trump-Trump.”

Thank you, Katie. Mind if I take it from here and highlight some of our guy’s good stuff?

For those whose political acumen and affiliation filter is locked on liberal echoes, may I recommend you stop reading?

Save yourself some discomfort.

Gas prices — You’ve been to the pump since President Autopen said goodbye. So, you already know how well this promise is going. Remember where that relief came from. Smile at your wisdom in buying a fossil fuel vehicle now that we’ve discovered that oil is a renewable resource, not a result of dead dinosaurs.

Venezuela — Maduro’s capture was a spectacular achievement. Intercepting the China, Russia, and Cuba agenda, even more so. The oil, minerals and peace for Venezuelans that will come is icing on a very nice cake.

Greenland — In Trump’s first term, Denmark pledged a quarter of a billion to protecting Greenland from Russia and China. They walked away when Trump left office. He didn’t like that betrayal and now has successfully gotten Denmark and Europe back on track by making the good guys – the U.S. – a proxy threat for the bad guys – China and Russia. Not a shot was fired. What a clever and productive switch up.

N.A.T.O. — Why pretend? It’s been the U.S.T.O. forever. Europe has been pretending and spending their indifferently made promises on social reengineering and windmills. Russia, China and Islam have noticed and exploited the void. Trump has taken the position that unless we’re going to have a real treaty organization let’s just do our own thing. Europe is suddenly realizing they’re in trouble. Initial response – attack Trump for his unanticipated boldness. Second response, reluctantly start stepping up. Another win for Katie’s Trumpy-Trump-Trump.

ICE — Busily arresting bad guy criminals while being hindered by fake good guys. Guess who’s winning? Check crime and murder stats for clarity.

TARIFFS — Just about everybody anticipated economic disaster when Trump announced his intention to introduce fairness back into international trade relationships. Just about everybody went crazy because just about everybody – here and in foreign lands – had been accustomed to exploiting America. No disaster has occurred, but much good has.

Our borders — More solid than at any time in our history. Again, check out crime and murder stats for celebration. Double-check lowered public safety net and healthcare costs for a bonus.

Rule of law — Unlike most politicians, Trump gets the difference in the rule of law versus the rule of personal preferences, politics, convenience, laziness, and/or indifference. We cannot sustain our Republic without a dedication to the first one.

America’s success — Trump understands the American Success Equation — Liberty + Responsibility + Opportunity = Prosperity. He’s the real deal in recognizing that you can’t leave out ingredients and produce the same results. Nobody else in politics comes even close.

Of course, the left is ignoring all this and concentrating on Trump’s tendencies toward exaggeration, hyperbole, personal criticisms and other quirky missteps.

I agree with those unforced errors, but land at a different place.

The left prioritizes charm more than success; pretense more than delivery; promises more than truth; fantasy more than reality; and comfort more than accountability.

Trump and a majority of Americans see the difference and reject these absurdities.

That’s the real reason for the left’s epidemic bout with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

It’s actually a form of withdrawal.
