A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held last Friday for the newest ski run at Wolf Ridge Ski Resort near Mars Hill. The new run is the first of three that are expected to be completed by December of next year as part of a number of developments and improvements to the resort being undertaken over the next two years. Other improvements will include new condominiums, a health spa, tennis courts and mountain bike trails. "The goal is for it to be a year-round resort ÇƒÓ not just a ski lodge," co-owner Rick Bussey told the Daily Planet. Staff photo by MEL DEAL
