Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, is the only major candidate in the general election on Nov. 8 who has not campaigned in the Asheville-Western North Carolina area this fall.

However, Chelsea Clinton did speak on her mother’s behalf during two campaign stop in downtown Asheville — one on Sept. 28 during a Clean Energy Roundtable and the other Nov. 5 at Twin Leaf Brewery where she urged supporters of her mother to vote.
