Protesters oppose escalation

An emergency demonstration to protest the escalation of the war in Afghanistan was held in front of the Federal Building in downtown Asheville on the evening of Dec. 4. The protest, which drew about a dozen people, was hosted by the UNC Asheville chapter of Students for a Democratic Society.
