WEAVERVILLE — A proposed 280-unit condominium and townhouse development got a green light from the Weaverville Zoning Board of Adjustment on Dec. 19.
The 67-acre development will be located between Pleasant Grove and Parker Cove roads off Reems Creek Road east of town.
The property falls outside Weaverville’s town limits, but is within the town’s zoning jurisdiction.
About 50 people attended the four-hour meeting, according to Shelby Shields, town clerk and zoning officer.
The project’s developer said that units will sell for $300,000 to $700,000.
