Graffiti covers a wall along downtown Ashevilleís Chicken Alley. The Asheville Police Department recently established a task force aimed at combatting downtown graffiti. The task force, comprising patrol officers from each of the cityís districts and one investigator from the Criminal Investigations Division, uses digital cameras to document the graffiti and to identify individual styles used by graffiti artists.
