Long-time friend of Rep. John Ager urges his election as N.C. senator
Friday, 12 April 2024 21:41

I grew up next door to John Ager, closer than brothers.

He moved away in fourth grade, but we stayed in touch.

I first got a sense of the grown up John when he unexpectedly dropped in on me at college.

It was the weekend of Fraternity Rush, and he said, “You got an extra coat and tie? I’ll try rushing.” So I dressed him up, and by the end of the evening, he had a bid to join one of the fraternities.

He’s always been the kind of fellow that people want on their team. For years I have called on his birthday, and we talk for an hour or so.

I have come to see his fine understanding of people and their lives, and a fine vision of doing right in this world.

When he ran for the N.C. House in 2014, I thought that was a fine and right thing to do, and the people of his district chose him for their team.

And now he is running for N.C. Senate from District 46.

The people need such a man, and he has made himself ready.

His head is screwed on right, his bolts are tight, and he himself has worked at the tasks of life that real people take on, with their ups and downs.

John Ager will represent the people, because he is one of the people and one of the best.

Siwa tops Greta, Malala, others to be best as U.S. president, reader says

When American pop star JoJo Siwa is in a serious mood and wears a conservative black business suit and dark glasss and speaks seriously on a serious subject she is the BEST and BRIGHTEST American — and couild out-debate all of those running for president (of the United States) and would make the best president.

The world is changing. And technology is changing the human race -and is changing the brains  of  young people. And a person no longer must be 35 (years) or older to be qualified to be president.

Because of the way technology changes the brains of young adults, there are millions of young adults smarter and more-qualified to be president than those currently running for president.

Just as an example, the 20-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg would make an infinitely better president than anyone currently running for president.

And so would the 28-year-old Pakastani human rights activist Malala.

And JoJo Siwa would make a better president than either Greta or Malala because JoJo Siwa is smarter and superior to Greta and Malala.

JoJo Siwa is the best-qualified American to be the next president.
