The real liar is not Rush Limbaugh, it’s Bill Press
According to a recent column by the Great Liar Bill Press, Rush Limbaugh should be denigrated because, among other things, he is the master of “The Big Lie?â€
Well, let’s “fact check†his three pieces of evidence:
“Rush said that the 2020 election had rampant fraud.†This is a true statement based on factual evidence of proof yet to be presented to any judicial body.
Logic would also indicate that the majority of Americans could not vote for someone with dementia to run the most powerful country in the world that represents people that want to defund police departments, so you get no response in the middle of the night when you call 911 as your door is being smashed in.
Hardly possible to get any majority with that platform and there is more than ample evidence of fraud if Mr. Press would only get his news from objective sources.
“Rush said that coronavirus is a “bad cold.â€
There is solid evidence that up to 80 percent or more of people contracting the COVID-19 virus, in the family of viruses similar to flu, will be “asymptomatic†(even CDC says so). This means that for the vast majority, you are less sick than if you have the common cold or would have mild symptoms similar to the cold. Therefore, this is not a lie. Not even close.
“Rush said January 6 was an not an insurrection.†Firstly, all “insurrections†against tyrannical governments can only be done by armed individuals with intent to do serious bodily harm to elected officials. But there is no evidence that not even a single Trump supporter was armed or a dangerous physical threat to elected officials. Secondly, every person killed at the Capitol (six) was at the hands of police actions at the control of the local D.C. government.
Finally, even the violence against property that did occur was infinitesimal (two broken doors) and is now known was caused by Antifa (not Patriots) to create a False Flag.
So, Rush is the master of the “Big Lie,†Mr. Press? Like everyone on the left, what you say and accuse others of doing is not only a lie, but the exact opposite of truth. Examples from your side:
• We follow “The Science†(but there is no biological sex)
• Marriage is not just between a (biological) man and a (biological) woman.
• Influenza has been eradicated.
• Biden does not have dementia.
• Global Warming will cause the Earth to end in ______years ( fill in the blank).
• Global warming is worse for humanity than global cooling (way more freezing deaths annually from cold temperatures).
• Democrats believe in the US Constitution (but believe people should be canceled for exercising their freedom of speech).
• Democrats love America (you don’t want to fundamentally transform anything that you love).
• The mainstream media is objective (LOL).
• Trump was elected with Russian interference (LOL X 2).
• No election fraud (LOL X 3).
• All whites are born racist.
• America was founded to promote slavery.
I could go on. It is hardly Rush Limbaugh that is the master of lies, it is Bill Press. This statement is not a lie.

In these dangerous times, we must be vigilant
Trump’s radical Republican Party (aka Gang) is predicated on The Big Lie.
It has been proven over and over the election was not stolen.
Yet the former president’s enablers continue to believe his misinformation while reviving his true (and evil) agenda to become dictator.
With supporters like America Firsters, Q-Anon and assorted White Supremacist groups, President Biden’s administration needs to be keenly aware of these dangerous times, especially when these groups threaten our Capitol in Washington, D.C.

Dems want immigrants for votes
I (and others) have long-suspected that “what is behind†the passionate debate about legal and illegal immigration is VOTES, VOTES, VOTES.
It is in the interest of the Democrats to be open to both.
It is in the interest of Republicans to be closed to both.
Why?
Because both sides believe that immigrants are more likely to vote for Democratic candidates for president and congress, and because with projections being that over 50 percenmt of the USA will be non-white by 2040-2044, both sides believe that they can always win the presidency and have the majority in both houses of the congress if their constituencies comprise 50.1 percent of the population.

Let’s cancel the cancel culture to crush tyranny of ‘wokesterism’
"To See a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.â€
— William Blake
The current movement among young people to cancel high Western culture is a great tragedy for humanity and especially for themselves.
They are, of course, our children and our grandchildren and we love them. What I would like to tell them is not to miss the beauty of the eternal realm reflected in the great artistic beauty created by mankind that gives wing to our highest aspirations and dreams.
In their effort to purge all vestiges of white European culture from the face of the Earth, they may be throwing out the baby with the bathwater.
To deny the legacy of Western art and literature is to bury some of the greatest beauty that humans have ever created. The beauty, of which I speak, is transcendent and one of the greatest legacies of the human race. This transcendent beauty exists beyond all concerns of racial inequality and is a gift to ALL humanity that must be preserved.
Other cultures (non-white European) have also produced great beauty. What of the great Persian poets who wrote with such admirable passion, insight and beauty? What of the great poetry of Achebe or Neruda. What of the great artistic and literary achievements that come to us from the world of the Orient? What of the ‘Tao Te Ching’ of Lao Tzu, perhaps one of the most inspiring pieces of literature ever written? What of the wisdom and beauty of the ‘Bhagavad Gita’ and ‘Upanishads’ from India or the sublime poetry of Tagore and Aurobindo? How long will it be before these forms of beautiful art will be banned as well?
The transcendent beauty of art produced by man should clearly be above the mean politics of the moment. One day take the time to relax a bit and listen to Beethoven’s titanic 9th Symphony, one of the greatest pieces of music ever written. It is a symphony of such sublime beauty, it would be a loss not to hear it at least once in one’s lifetime because of the hope, beauty and passion that it conveys. It is a symphony in five movements with the third marked as ‘Adagio molto e cantabile.’ The depth of feeling and higher emotion that this glorious movement carries with it penetrates the heart ever so deeply and vibrates in communion with the soul.
What of Mozart’s Piano Concerto 14? There is a moment in the second movement, marked “Andantino,†where the music seems to cascade directly down from heaven itself and is heartwarming and beautiful beyond words to describe. The Entire movement is glorious but listen for a short passage around 5 minutes and 23 seconds where eternal beauty clearly pierces our dimension embracing our being with indescribable beauty. This work of art did not come from the mind of man it came through the mind of man.
What else are the masked mobs of the cancel culture missing?
We could go on with celebrating the artistic genius of man and speak of Michelangelo’s fresco on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel or the incomparable works of Leonardo or of the holy beauty that grips one upon entering the Cathedral of Chartres.
What of the great works of Shakespeare, Goethe, Dante and Milton — do we really want to bury these in the hardened amber of forgetfulness? For this upstart and sadly misled generation is committed to stomping out beauty because they have grown enamored of their robotic “selfie†ugliness. We pray they may awaken from the grip of misguided “wokesterism.â€
“A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul.â€
— Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
To miss things of this nature is committing harakiri of the soul and an entire generation of young people are doing this. It is a tragedy and a great loss for them beyond comparison. They have become a generation without grace, a generation lost in space.
I only hope that they will discover some means of appreciating beauty. It would not surprise me to learn that a main aim of this movement is to cancel all sense of beauty and replace it with bloody hatred and self-loathing that is to be taken out on others. We will all suffer for this existential confusion. This is what they have been taught. Shame on the higher education system for perpetuating this twisted hatred of humanity under the guise of a perverted sense of total equality, for it is really our mortal nature that makes us equal and our ability to rise above it is unequaled by any other life form that we know of.
When you hear the edicts of the new “Woke†culture screaming down on you from the citadels of power, here is the good news:
Consider that each time you appreciate a great work of art, each time that you revel in the glory of eternal beauty, natural or artistic, you feed your evolving soul and “cancel the cancel culture itself.†Simple and sweet! That is what personal empowerment is all about.

K.C. accused of hypocrisy in changing team’s name
Kansas City, lose the racist team name already — just like your vaunted offense lost its ability to score points during Super Bowl LV, losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an embarrassing blowout.
Tom Brady is now officially the greatest football player of all time, thanks to you, K.C. — good going!
And the “Chiefs†moniker is last-century stuff, not to mention bigoted.
As for K.C.’s home field Arrowhead Stadium ... please!
Chucklehead Stadium would be a much more appropriate name, considering their largely low-IQ fan base whose racist outbursts during games are a continuing disgrace to the National Football League.
Here are 10 new team name options for the NFL’s most blatantly racist fan base in K.C.:
• Kansas City Cheeks
• Kansas City Cheaps
• Kansas City Jeeps
• Kansas City Kanyes
• Kansas City Kardashians
• Kansas City Cthulhus
• Kansas City Chumbawambas
• Kansas City Chipotles
• Kansas City Coup d’etats
• Kansas City Cancun Cruzes

Monument move: It’s a needle in haystack of lies
Before I pay 5c to see Vance Monument shimmy down Patton Ave, I need more info (including on collected sayings, and cultural references, like the 1920-1970 (and beyond) winner, “so and so’s so tight, they wouldn’t pay a nickel to see Vance Monument shimmy down Patton Ave.â€
Where this comes from has so many layers.
Guffaws and claims of buffoonery, rural chunkiness, hatred and “nonsensicality†meet the stack of damned files and the truths downtrodden -- and oh what a word the last!
Therefore, again, the operative word is “ostensible.â€
What we must first notice is that our monuments, traditions, symbols of peace/prosperity and more are again:
1. Described as a place to buy drugs -- What? Tours and friends/family meeting here are more often the reality.
2. Described by folks who are often fake.
3. Damned and defended by folks who eschew education (not schooling, mind you), and also subterfuge the real happening present.
I’m less interested in awkward-insertions of drug phobic, red herring bloviation than:
1. Scholarly interest about what this structure is and does — even “crackpot†theories of other metaphysical uses of this structure which might have posted a “Vance†on something good or bad.
2. End to damnation of the commons and the scams ruining police-other citizen communication; the heisting of our ways and truths to the closets of pain and secret jokes — early Mission history stands as a monument to this and the constant discombobulation such causes.
3. The end of binary “sides†that disrespect our mosaic.
Is this a Muslim vs Jewish, or other tribal disagreement?
Asheville always has dealt in recorded history with scams, abusers, false labelers and racism.
Militant logical errors and sudden pedantry, obtrusive giggles/phobia of visible happiness and laughter), militarized sadness, Munchausen’s-by-Proxy, scams and “Useta’s†without respect or continuity (note the obsession with stress and “speed limitingâ€/consuming individual efforts without comprehension/pride in mosaic) — Begone!

Real love of country? Not if you believe in Trump
The 1969 moon landing, 9/11 the Biden victory. These are facts. These are not conspiracy theories. They are real.
If you believe in Donald Trump, you believe in a theocracy. The U.S. Constitution does not allow for a theocracy. So, the Constitution will hae to be changed to allow a theocracy. Maybe that’s what you want. If it really is, so be it. But I don’t think that is what you really want.
If you believe in white supremacy, Donald Trump is your man. Do you really want to go back to a time when white men ruled? That is never going to work. That philosophy assumes that white men have the best answers, and that simply is not true. This is a multi-racial culture, not a monolithic white culture. White men are one part of this culture. Women and blacks are important parts also. Trump discounts anybody who is not white and male.
The scope of white nationalistic ideology is extremely limited. It leaves out vast chunks of the U.S. population and is destined to fail. If you really support Trump and what he stands for, a new Constitution will have to be written — one in which the vice president can overturn an election, one where a religious test can be administered by a group of white nationalists, and one where a theocracy can be established.
We have freedom of religion in America. It is guaranteed in the Constitution. You can choose whatever religion you want, or maye you don’t want any religion. Do you really want a government to specify what religion you belong to? Diversity is our strength. It is brecause of a pluralistic society that we are as strong as we are.
Real love requires real truth. Nobody loves this country more than me. I know this country has stemic racism, violence, sexism and homophobia. I love this country, even though I know about its warts. I know the country can improve, as it has improved many times.
You have to know the truth before you can truly love anything or anybody. I love this country a hell of a lot more than someone who is willing to tear it apart, based on lies that bolster his own ego.
I hope that you will get your head out of the sande and accept the truth. The trust is the only thing that will make this republic flourish, not conspiracy theories.
