The Asheville Police Department announced last Wednesday that it will accept applications from all wrecker services able to meet the city??s requirements for equipment and that have 24-hour availability.
The applications, along with a list of requirements, may be picked up
at the information desk in the lobby of the police station, located in
the Municipal Building at 100 Court Plaza. The application deadline is
Dec. 23.
After the closure of the application period and the wrecker services??
demonstration of their ability to meet the city??s requirements, the
police will establish on-call lists and rotation assignments.
