The Georgia Mustangs stomped the Asheville Grizzlies 28-7 in football in the Grizzlies season-opener on July 12 at Asheville’s Memorial Stadium.

The Grizzlies’ score occurred in the third quarter of the North American Football League’s South Eastern Conference on a 36-yard pass from Phil Hall to Rick Brown.
