TRYON, N.C. — The annual “Chase Away the Blues” concrt will be presented from 6 to 11 p.m. Feb. 7 in the Tryon Fine Arts Center 34 Melrose Avenue, here.

Regarding the show, a TFAC promotion stated, “A Tryon favorite event! This year’s featured artists are Angelique Francis and her smokin’ hot band, and soulful blues master Jerron Paxton, plus your favorite local bands and performers. 

Paxton is touted as “a critically acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and vocalist known for authentic, soulful interpretations of 1920s-’30s blues, ragtime and folk.”
