TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — The Upstatte Jazz Festival will be held from 2:30 to 9 p.m. Sept. 26 in the amphitheater atTrailblazer Park  here.

The following is the musical lineup:

• 2:30 to 3 p.m. — Havanna Jazz Trio

• 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. — Soulution

• 4:35 to 5:35 p.m. — Oli Silk 

• 5:55 to 7:10 p.m. — Julian Vaughn

• 7:30 to 9 p.m. — Jackiem Joyner

 Regarding the festival, a UJF promotion stated,  “Get ready for a day filled with smooth vibes and soulful sounds at the Upstate Jazz Festival. 

“Enjoy live performances from top jazz artists in the heart of the Upstate, surrounded by mountain views and community spirit.” 

Food and drink trucks will be on-site.

A day earlier, the festival will hold a “meet and greet” from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Sept. 25 on the balcony of the Veranda, Courtyard Marriott, 50 W. Broad St., downtown Greenville. (Greenville is about a 22-minute drive to Travelers Rest.)

The “meet and greet” will offer complimentary hors d’oeuvres, along with a cash bar. Saxophonist Derwin Friday will provide live music. (Friday is the leader of the Charlotte, N.C.-based 5th & York.) A promotion stated that the “the Meet & Greet ‘has a limited capacity and will only host 100 VIP (ticketed) guests... Dressy casual attire..”
