TRYON, N.C. — The Feels band will perform in concert at 7 p.m. Aug. 8 in Rogers Park Amphitheater, 55 W Howard St., here.
The show is part of Tryon’s Summer Tracks’ 25th Anniversary Season.
Regarding the Feels, a promotion stated that it is “a R&B/soul group from Asheville. The Feels is a soulful, six-piece (band) with captivating female harmonies and rootsy grooves.
“This group packs their sets with influences of soul, R&B, and groove that will make you move...”
Another promotion stated, “The Feels are a female-fronted fusion of indie-soul, R&B, funk and groove, with dreamy vocal harmonies interwoven throughout their original music.”
What’s more, “Sarah and Lange will soothe your soul and light your fire all at the same time. They bring out all your ‘feels’ with compelling original songs, delivered with dreamy vocal harmonies,” according to Peggy Ratusz, who is billed as an Asheville based “blues chanteuse.”
Attendees are urged to bring lawnchairs and/or blankets. Dogs and coolers are not allowed. Admission is free, but a $10 donation is recommended.
