HENDERSONVILLE — Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards recently won “prestigious awards” at the American Wine Society 2024 National Commercial Competition, the winery announced on Facebook on Nov. 10.

“We are thrilled to announce that Saint Paul Wine has garnered multiple prestigious awards at the American Wine Society 2024 National Commercial Competition held on Oct. 30 and 31,” the vineyard noted. ‘This esteemed event involved wineries from across the United States — and St. Paul Mountain Vineyards proudly represented North Carolina with outstanding results.”

The winery has been honored with the “Best of North Carolina” award for its exceptional Viognier, showcasing the winery's commitment to producing high-quality wines that highlight the unique characteristics of North Carolina's terroir amidst a competitive national field. Additionally, St. Paul Mountain Vineyards received a “Best Varietal” award for the Viognier. 

In further recognition of its excellence, five of St. Paul Mountain Vineyards' estate wines were awarded silver medals, achieving an impressive average score of “93 out of 100.”
