We offer a tip of the hat to veteran Democratic Party political strategist James Carville for his clear-sightedness — and courage — in scorching young progressive staffers whose narrow-mindedness, he claims, greatly contributed to the failed Kamala Harris campaign for the presidency.
Indeed, in a Nov. 26 Fox News interview, the straight-talking Carville argued that Harris’ staffers’ role in scuttling her acceptance of an interview invitation from Joe Rogan to appear on his podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience†helped cost her the election.
(“‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ boasts approximately 11 million listeners per episode, surpassing many traditional media outlets in reach and influence,†according to mountbonnell.info.)
Fox News noted that “a campaign official said earlier this month Vice President Kamala Harris backed out of appearing on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ because of ‘concerns at how the interview would be perceived within the Democratic Party’ and ‘backlash with some of our progressive staff that didn’t want her to be on it.’â€
In blasting the influence of the staffers, Carville told Fox News, “The vice president was thinking about going Joe Rogan’s show and a lot of younger, progressiv staffers pitched a hissy fit. Supposedly, the campaign said that wasn’t a determining factor, but they did.â€
Fox News added, “The experienced campaign operative went on to explain how to deal with young staffers who try to assert their own opinions.â€
To that end, the network quoted Carville as follows:
“If I were running a 2028 campaign and I had some little snot-nosed 23-year-old saying, ‘I’m going to resign if you do this,’ not only would I fire that motherf—er on the spot, I would find out who hired them and fire that person on the spot!†he added. “I’m really not interested in your uninformed, stupid, jacka– opinion as to whether to go on Joe Rogan or not.â€
Also, we must add, after Donald Trump’s presidential victory, Carville said Democrats have the “stench†of wokeness clinging to them.
