“I’m voting for the obnoxious achiever over the seductive pretender.â€

Try as they may, liberal pundits have been swimming up a shallow, rocky river in their attempt to deny that VP (Kamala) Harris is on a political honeymoon.
In spite of their best efforts, we are watching that fantasy come apart.
Here’s why and let’s begin with a brief reprise of an old Ronald Reagan joke.
It seems that a lady who had been married for four years shared with a friend that she was leaving her husband.
“Why,†the friend queried?
“Because he’s a Democrat,†the soon-to-be separated companion replied.
“What’s wrong with that?†the friend declared.
Her reply, “Because all he has done for the past four years is sit on the bed and tell me how great the next four years are going to be.â€
And so it was in Chicago — Democrat presidential candidate Kamala’s campaign apex.
The parade of cheerleaders, promisers, seducers, entertainers and star-gazers in attendance was mind-boggling.
Every unmet need and escape from reason and responsibility known to the free and barely free world was trotted out with a determined proclamation that —
“Together, we’ll save our democracy; protect mothers; make sure that discarded fetuses are given a life purpose through stem cell production and organ harvesting; raise taxes for everyone but you; balance the budget, reduce the deficit; preserve social security while expanding social security; save the planet from global warming; keep America safe as we reduce our military; support our police by paralyzing and underfunding them; talk tough on crime but be nice to criminals; provide free healthcare, college; daycare; food stamps, school meals, and fake ID; keep our borders closed and open at the same time; carry on with the mission of kicking butt in the Ukraine and Middle-East, and generally use government to meet every unmet need of every person in the country.â€
The DNC and an Amway convention are very similar experiences — except that in the case of the Amway folks, they actually try to do something.
Clearly the Democrats’ strategy and policy wonks have emailed everyone who rides a donkey and insisted on one master plan — say everything with gusto and the presumption that intensity trumps accuracy.
If a liberal-progressive-socialist-Democrat (per voting records that’s really pretty much the only kind of Democrat there is today) says something, it’s to be presented as gospel.
Interesting word that.
One would be hard-pressed to search the New Testament and find any of the official policies, practices, platforms and promises of the Democrat Party scripturally validated.
Try and prove me wrong.
But I digress. We’re gathered here to put a spotlight on Kamala and karma.
May I be specific?
Kamala Harris is a hot mess and anyone who seriously believes we will be safe with her in the White House should engage in some serious soul-searching.
Psychologists have a taboo against diagnosing people with whom they are not formally engaged. We are free to think what we will, but turning our powers of discernment into a weapon is bad form.
Thus, I will avoid the temptation of suggesting that Kamala Harris is a raving hysteric.
I will merely suggest she demonstrates some of the behaviors associated with raving hysterics.
To wit a brief summation of histrionic personality disorder —
Histrionic personality disorder (HPD) is a mental health condition marked by unstable emotions, a distorted self-image and an overwhelming desire to be noticed. People with HPD often behave dramatically or inappropriately to get attention.
You can take it from there.
It’s a personal/professional view that hysterics are some of the most dangerous people on the planet. Like sociopaths, they will run over anyone or anything to get their fix.
The thus assaulted can and will include truth, feelings, facts, yesterday-today-tomorrow, realism, the naive and otherwise vulnerable, and anything or anyone else that gets in the way of their number one priority — moi.
Though male hysterics are not terribly common, may one note that her new running mate demonstrates behaviors that are common among male hysterics?
Two in the White House and we’re doomed.
Lest I ignore the obvious, her opponent, Donald Trump, also demonstrates behaviors common among folks with a personality disorder called narcissism.
Yes, one might ask what’s the difference between the two?
Before we tackle that one, mind if I raise the point that we have a recent history of hiring people for White House service with behaviors that suggest psycho-pathology?
And that countries — blink, blink — reliably get the leadership they earn?
So now we face a choice between one candidate who might have some behaviors in common with a histrionic personality disorder and another who might have some behaviors in common with a narcissistic personality disorder.
What to do?
That’s easy — vote for the one that not only talks about policies, but has them, does something about them, and has a history of authentic achievement with them.
It’s a lesser of evil thing — and from this guy’s angle of view, one of these two evils is so far ahead of the other one that her hair is about to catch fire....
