Because of a production error, the Daily Planet incorrectly ran a picture in its June 5-18 edition with a story about Spartanburg, S.C., stating that the picture was a scene “of a historical — and colorful — area of downtown Spartanburg.”

The picture actually is of downtown Charleston, S.C., as several Upstate South Carolina readers have pointed out.

The story about Spartanburg was headlined: “Spartanburg (No. 4) tops Hendersonville (No. 14) in ranking of the Friendliest Towns."
