TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — The Hot As a Pepper Party Band will perform music for listening and/or dancing from 7 to 9 p.m. June 8 in the outdoor amphitheater at Trailblazer Park, 125 Trailblazer Drive, here.

The concert is part of TR’s Music in the Park summer series. The Hot As a Pepper Party Band, based in Simpsonville, bills itself as performing pop, Top 40, rock, disco, funk and Motown music. 

A promotion added, “Hot As A Pepper is not your run-of-the-mill cover band, churning out the same old, tired songs from this music genre or that, with little or no emotion.

“Hot As A Pepper brings high-energy, fun, funky and upbeat music to your venue or event and plays what YOU want to hear. A variety of genres and generations are covered, including some originals.”

Attendees are urged to bring lawnchairs and/or blankets. Admission is free.
