UNC Asheville will be closed for winter break from Sunday through Jan. 2.
Some offices will be open on a limited basis this Monday through next Wednesday, as well as Dec. 27-29 and Jan. 2.

Meanwhile,
UNCAës Health & Fitness Center will be closed Dec. 21-26 and Dec.
30-Jan. 1. It will be open on a limited schedule through Jan. 15. For

distance-learning course designed for lateral-entry teachers will be
offered beginning in January. The three-credit hour course, "Education
Psychology for Lateral-Entry Teachers," will be offered via
teleconference at four different locations: UNCA, McDowell Technical
Community College in Marion, Tri-County Community College in Murphy and
at Blue Ridge Community College in Hendersonville.
Classes will be held
from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays from Jan. 16 to March 6. Tuition is
$237.57 plus a $20 non-refundable application fee. For more information
