U.N. condemned by reader, decried as enemy of U.S.
The recent celebration of the U.N. Association here in WNC is an embarrassment to our region. Why would 100 people show up to cheer the most corrupt organization on the planet? Why would their former U.N. undersecretary babble on about how wonderful Kofi Annan is? Does she not know that he is resposible for one of the greatest international scams ever created with the "Oil for Food" scam?
Even their UNICEF begging program is totally CORRUPT! Please do NOT donate to UNICEF!
The United
Nations is not the friend of America. Oh sure, we host them, but now
even that is wrong. It is time for America to STOP their support of
the U.N., and to ask them to LEAVE our soil.
Their behavior
and lack of respect for our country is outrageous. Most of the country
members despise Americaës success, yet do not hesitate begging for our
money EVERY DAY!!! Enough already!
The time is now
for the U.N. to be booted OUT of AMERICA! To those who celebrate the
U.N., you make me sick, and you are an embarrassment to true America
patriots. STRIVE to be SMARTER, and understand that the U.N. is our
ENEMY, NOT our friend!

Councilman takes issue
with ǃÚsecretiveë meetings
It is my
understanding that city staff has been calling select media outlets
requesting private meetings for this past Friday which will include
"staff and council members."
The issue at
hand is McCormick Heights ÇƒÓ a matter most recently discussed in closed
session and scheduled for vote this coming Tuesday (Dec. 12).
I learned of these meeting requests from a media outlet questioning the secretive nature of the invitation.
I have personal
concerns about clandestine efforts to provide preliminary media
information to select outlets following closed session discussion and
before formal deliberation in the public eye.
This speaks to
deliberate orchestration by staff and council members and in that this
information sharing initiative was not communicated with all council
members, one can assume the minority position is being excluded.
Should you wish to have a minority view of this project or these methodologies, I would be happy to provide one.
