MAULDIN, S.C. —  The Mauldin Blues & Jazz Festival will feature an afternoon and evening of what is billed as “bites, blues and jazz” from 2 to 9 p.m. April 29 at Mauldin Outdoor Amphitheater,101 East Butler Road, here.

The annual event formerly was known the Pizza, Blues and Jazz Festival.

The band schedule includes the Iliana Rose Cuban Jazz Band, 2-3:15 p.m.; Mac Arnold & Plate Full o’ Blues, 3:30-4:45 p.m., the Greenville Jazz Collective, 5:15-7 p.m.; and Albert Cummings, 7:30-9 p.m. 

Food and beverages will be available for purchase on-site. “Outside food and beverages are prohibited,” an event promoted noted. 

Attendees are urged to bring lawnchairs and/or blankets.

Admission and parking is free.
