NEWBERRY, S.C. —  The McCartney Project — a Paul McCartney tribute band — will perform at 8 p.m. Jan. 26 at Newberry Opera House, 1201 McKibben St., here.

The tribute band’s performance “covers more than three decades of the most popular Beatles’ hits; this is a fun, high-energy show from the opening song to the closing encore,” an event promotion stated.

“Leading The McCartney Project is Tony Burlingame, who has been paying tribute to Paul McCartney for years and bears an uncanny resemblance to ‘Sir Paul.’ 

“His voice, mannerisms and left-handed bass-playing, along with the very talented McCartney Project band, deliver the ultimate McCartney experience.”
