NEWTON — The show, “A Holly Dolly Christmas — Kenny & Dolly Tribute” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at Newton Performing Arts Center, 60 W. 6th St., here.

The concert will feature a salute to singing icons the late Kenny Rogers (who died in 2020) and Dolly Parton. 

Regarding the show, an event promotion stated, “‘Dolly’ (Becca Bongiorno) and ‘Kenny’ (Tim Sells) will have you singing along to all your holiday favorites and give you great memories well after the holidays are over.  

“This show will be full of surprises with beautiful stage decorations, and I even heard that Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be stopping by to take pictures with you, ‘Kenny’ and ‘Dolly’ after the show... 

“The band, ‘having over a decade of experience between them,’ will be playing note for note all your Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers hits and duets.

“Bongiorno and Sells — from Legends (agency)  —  are billed as “the two premiere Dolly and Kenny tribute artists and have performed all over the country… This is a show that is a must-see for the whole family!” the promotion stated.
