From Staff Reports

WALHALLA, S.C. — The Return: A Beatles Tribute Band will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 4 in Walhalla Performing Arts Center, 101 E. North Broad St., here.

Regarding the show, an event promotion stated, “The captivating, fun, exciting spirit that came to be known as ‘Beatlemania’ is alive again in The Return – the world’s most authentic and entertaining Beatles tribute band.

“These four lads have carefully and skillfully recreated the Beatles experience by not only performing all the great songs of the original four, but also by sporting the same suits, boots, mop-tops, musical instruments and gear.

“The show is filled with joyous renditions of ‘I Want To Hold Your Hand’ and ‘Hard Day’s Night’ and ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ and — well, the list goes on and on.”

The Return — reportedly — got its start in 1995, when four young friends got together to play their favorite Beatles songs. They soon were performing in front of audiences on a regular basis and it grew from there.

The Georgia-based tribute band consists of Richard Stelling, Shane Landers, Michael Fulop and Adam Thurston, each portraying a different member of the Beatles.

As a special guest, the show also will feature The Invaders — A Tribute To the Music of the British Invasion.

For tickets, which are $36 to $46 (including fees), call the box office at (864) 638-5277, or visit online at walhallapac.com.
