CARY — For a second straight year, a Hendersonville amateur competion dance duo, Edward Skrivanek and Bobbi Annino, placed second in the “dance small group” division in the 2022 North Carolina Senior Games State Finals on Sept. 23 at the Cary Arts Center in Cary.

They danced the rumba to Shawn Kane’s cover of (the Sam Cooke classic) “You Send Me” from “Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights.” 

In last year’s state finals, the pair danced the east coast swing to “Runaround Sue” by Dion & the Belmonts.
