We live in a time of unprecedented absurdity.

Mothers are being called “birthing persons.” We’re printing trillions of dollars out of thin air. Children are supported in the willy-nilly selection of their gender. We’re straining to protect the world while surrendering our own borders. We’ve unleashed an army of elephant-tranquilizer fueled street predators deceptively mislabeled as homeless victims. A political party has intentionally elected a cognitively impaired chameleon to the presidency.

And a flood of imported newcomers screaming ‘diversity’ has plundered the traditional values, morals and norms of our community.

These left-minded absurdities and can easily be explained with a class on monkey brains.

The human mind is a dangerous thing

Though we like to tout the special capacities of the brain, in similarity to a split atom that can generate power or blow up a city, our skull contains infinitely hazardous materials.

Confirmation comes in the form of a lesson on brain organization and function.

The back brain – or lizard brain – runs like a computer. It doesn’t think, it just hums along and monitors and controls our heartbeat, breathing and other bodily functions.

Upfront is the thinking brain – or Spock brain – that reasons, stores accumulated knowledge and solves problems. Compared to the complexities of the thinking brain, today’s computers are about as sophisticated as a can of pintos.

Lastly is the middle “animal” brain – or monkey brain – that processes our emotions, training, experiences and behaviors. This is the brain part that generates feelings of love, but just as surely can compel a Russian soldier to shoot a Ukrainian civilian in their lizard brain.  

In these three brain parts, we find a simple explanation for why today’s American liberals are every bit as irrational as that Russian war criminal.

The year of the monkey

I haven’t confirmed this with a Chinese restaurant placemat, but Joe Biden’s inauguration must surely have been held in the Year of the Monkey.

He and the handlers and the lost or misguided minions that elected him were clearly not operating out of their Spock brain. Nothing about this man logically or factually supported his capacity to lead our nation. Not his history of political opportunism. Not his exploitative value system. Not his incapacity to reason out a problem and apply productive solutions.

What he was good at was poking other people’s monkey brain with his monkey brain. He’s done that his entire career as a professional politician by instinctively – as in monkey brain activation – reading what his audience wanted to hear and saying or promising it, assuring his acolytes he could give them something for nothing, selling the idea government can replace personal responsibility, or otherwise echoing the emotional sentiments and special interests of his constituents with a passionate and practiced indifference to reality, reason, responsibility and right.

He won with that formula – and apparently at least several thousand election mules – but there is a decided difference in securing an office and being prepared to assume that office.

We thus have a CEO in charge with the emotional maturity and undeveloped reasoning power of a spider monkey.

Here’s the clincher

We all have a monkey brain. That’s a good thing.

But there’s something conservative thinkers and adults understand that liberals and children don’t – it’s important to learn and practice how to apply your front and middle brain in effective fashion.

Truly smart people delight in the emotions and experience of the monkey brain, but they put their Spock brain in charge to contain that monkey’s endless appetites.

Today’s liberal-progressive-socialists do exactly the opposite. They misuse their Spock brain to rationalize and artificially validate the boundless cravings of the Monkey brain.

That’s why they can pretend that the dollar comes off an imagined money tree.

That’s why they enable a child who can’t be trusted to brush their teeth to embrace gender exchange.

That’s why they can walk away from a 20-year commitment in Afghanistan and sacrifice an entire culture to the whims of a religious order whose ideas on good governance can be summed up in the burka, while simultaneously allowing thousands of people to illegally penetrate our borders daily.

That’s why, at a time of unprecedented wealth and opportunity, an army of drug-poisoned zombies has been unleashed on Asheville and every other city where liberals are in charge.

That’s why winning at any price has become the distasteful practice of the Democrat Party, while tired platitudes, pretense, and promises are echoed with absolutely no reasoned plan for sincere implementation.

That’s why today in the White House we have the equivalent of a leashed scripted monkey performing to the tunes of background organ grinders.

That’s why Asheville has become a place that natives — grounded in traditional values — avoid as much as possible in recognition that the pretense of diversity is simply a screen for division, destruction, and deviance.

We all have a Spock, monkey and lizard brain. All three are important.

Today’s liberals have lost their understanding of which part should be in charge. Their donkey is ridden by a monkey.
