Chicago Rewired to perform June 9 in Simpsonville

SIMPSONVILLE, S.C — Chicago Rewired, promoted as “The Premier Chicago Tribute Band,” will perform from 6 to 9 p.m. June 9 at the outdoor CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park, 861 Southeast Main St. here.

The event is part of the Simpsonville Summer Music Series & Food Truck Rodeo.

“Chicago Rewired sounds just as smooth and energetic as the band they’re paying tribute to,” an event promotion stated.

Attendees are urged to bring lawnchairs and/or blankets. Admission is free.

Chi-Town Transit Authority to play June 18 in Walhalla

 WALHALLA, S.C — The Chi-Town Transit Authority will perform a salute to the iconic band Chicago from 7:30 to 10 p.m. June 18 at the Walhalla Performing Arts Center, 101 E North Broad St. here.

The show is a fundraiser for The Knights of Columbus Charities-Council 6884 of Seneca. 

“Chi-Town Transit Authority is a rocking seven-piece band created in the image of the original configuration of the rock group Chicago,” an event promotion stated.
