TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — The variety/party band Split Shot will perform from 7 to 10 p.m. June 11 in the outdoor amphitheater in Trailblazer Park at 235 Trailblazer Drive here.

Split Shot is billed as “a popular, local variety/party band, with an emphasis on fun!!!”

Food trucks, as well as vendors of beer and wine, will be available at Travelers Rest’s Music in the Park Concert Series. Attendees are urged to bring lawnchairs and/or blankets.

Meanwhile, Split Shot also will perform from 7 to 10 p.m. June 17 at Mauldin Outdoor Amphitheater in the city’s Beachin’ Fridays concert series.

“We’ll be playing all of your favorite beach hits and more! All shows are free, so bring your dancing shoes, lawn chairs, and blankets – it’s gonna be a long, fun, Southern night!” a Mauldin event promotion said of the June 17 concert.

Further, the promotion noted, “Beachin’ Fridays started in 2016, bringing the beach music scene to Mauldin. People come from all over the Upstate converge on the Mauldin Outdoor Amphitheater for evenings of shag dancing, beer and wine from Growler Haus, and food trucks.”

Admission to the Mauldin concert is free, but concert-goers are urged to bring lawnchairs and/or blankets.
