GREENVILLE, S.C — The Hot As a Pepper Party Band will perform from 7 to 9:30 p.m., May 27 at the Palmetto Bar & Grill, 620 Howell Road, here.

The Greenville-based variety dance bandcovers songs from the 1950s to current, across many genres, including pop, Top 40, rock, disco, R&B, Ffunk, Carolina beach and more.

The Hot As a Pepper Party Band also recently released a CD with original songs-only.

Among the many artists the band covers are Prince, Lady Gaga, Micheal Jackson, Bruno Mars, Rick James, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Daft Punk, DNCE, Chairmen of the Board, Temptations, Earth Wind & Fire, Kool & The Gang, KC & The Sunshine Band, Alice in Chains and the B52s.

The band plays frequently at bars, clubs, private and corporate events and festivals, mostly around the Upstate, although it has been slowly leaving many of the local venues to focus more on events.
