The Council of Independent Business Owners will hold a forum for Asheville mayoral candidates at its Power Breakfast meeting from 7 to 8:30 a.m. April 29 in the Mountain View Room at UNC Asheville's Sherrill Center.

Expected to attend the forum are incumbent Mayor Esther Manheimer, as well as challengers Cliff Feingold, Michael Hayes, Kim Roney and Jonathan Wainscott.

 "This is a non-partisan race," CIBO noted in an event notice. "The top two vote-getters in the May 17th primary will move on to the general election in November. "

The breakfast buffet will be served for $15 per person.
