WALHALLA, S.C. — “A Tribute to Frank Sinatra & Friends†will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Apil 9 at Walhalla Performing Arts Center, 101 E. North Broad St., here.
Regarding the concert, an event promotion noted, “‘The Frank Sinatra & Friends’ show features the exciting music of Frank Sinatra combined with classic hit songs from the likes of Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Andy Williams and Bobby Darin.
“During the past 35 years, Steve Vecchi has had the pleasure of sharing the music of the “Great American Crooners†with audiences both in and outside the United States using his custom 17-piece big band musical arrangements.
“In his ‘Frank Sinatra & Friends’ show, Vecchi presents a nostalgic review of this classic music from the Great American Songbook, backed by actual recordings of his custom musical arrangements and fascinating stories of the artists and songs, Steve’s classic crooner vocal renditions combined with his musical abilities (trumpet, flugelhorn) are certain to leave you breathless!
