ANNOUNCER:

“Do not attempt to think for yourself. We will control what you think and believe. We will determine what is true or false. We will determine what is interesting and what is just another conspiracy theory. Do not attempt to reach the alternative media. Do not follow those deadly impulses to learn for yourself. You must remember that to self-educate is a crime because the self is our most dangerous enemy. We need to become selfless members of the ‘new normal.’ Remember, it takes a global village and we’re all in this together. No need for any independent thought anymore. You have been reset by Google Brain! Any questions? Google it!”

Google Brain is taking over and is laying siege to the human heart, soul and mind.

Google Brain has become the ultimate arbiter of the truth. It will decide for us what reality is. “It depends what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is” (Slick Willie, Aug. 17, 1998.)

It has taken away our ability to think for ourselves and to think deeply about matters that deserve more intensive levels of contemplation and prolonged attention. This is perhaps its most dangerous attribute.

It has put a damper on our humanity because our senses of understanding and compassion require freer and deeper levels of sustained contemplation.

The much-ballyhooed notion of “collaborative learning” has become a clever tool for promoting indoctrination. If it were not for the global interests involved, it might be a great agent of collaboration, but the dark side of the force keeps it a tool that corrupts independent thinking.

Interestingly, it can also lead to information overload and mental confusion by offering too much information — much of it undocumented. In addition, the information may be officially verified as true, which may or may not be true.

On the other hand, reliable information may be tagged as being fake by fact-checkers of dubious reliability.

Google is not simply a purveyor or presenter of information, but an evaluator of that information. This can influence our worldview in a thousand different ways and even help determine the outcome of elections.

It began as a search engine to help us access information on the world wide web. It then morphed into an online operating system, spreading its tentacles far and wide and, in the process, it took over the local operating system through its proprietary browser “Google Chrome.”

Today, it is a beast, a real behemoth of information processing and control. Its  tentacles have become a legion of apps capable of taking over every computer function you can imagine.

It is growing geometrically by the day. Soon, it will control everything from your medical records and the lights and cameras in your house.

Who knows — it might even analyze the health of your bowel movements through the Google toilet app. Big brother will be watching and getting to know you better. I hope you find that as comforting as I do.

Lack of a real education, coupled with the growing inability of people to reason for themselves, has led to a form of mental laziness and to browser blindness, which has drastically affected our ability to understand the many subtleties, nuances and complexities of our lives.

Media manipulation of the mind has been building for at least a century. Now comes Google Brain. What could be a more perfect instrument for molding public opinion?

It is the digital governor of what information you can access. It often operates in surreptitiously subtle ways by ranking the information that you can get on any given subject.

Contrarian views that question the official narrative of events or alternative political views often get buried deep within the search results.

Google Brain knows everything about you. It knows what products you like, it knows where you have been and where you are going. It knows how and where you spend your money, it knows what your political beliefs are. It knows who you voted for. It knows your sexual preferences.

Remember, when a social credit system is set up in your country, big brother will be watching you and ultimately judging you, based on your online interests and behavior. Much of this data will be gleaned from Google.

There is a vaccine for the Google Brain and its attendant mind viurs. You can obtain a Unix-like open operating system (OS) called Linux.

Linux has many graphical user interfaces that can help make the experience more Windows-like.

Then you should make sure that you use an email function that is not Google “Gmail” and also make sure your browser is not Chrome. Try “Opera” or “Firefox.”

Finally. to complete your digital inoculation. make sure that you use an alternative search engine like “Yandex,” “Swisscows” or “Startpage.”

These digital antibodies will enable you to have a better web experience, free from so much manipulation and intrusion.

Ditch your cellphone, too, and read a good book!
