Students with the UNC Asheville Socialist Unity League set up a temporary wall on the schoolës quadrangle last Wednesday and invited participants to spray paint graffiti on it as a protest against the construction by Israel of a controversial wall around its border. After several students asked if they could spray paint pro-American and pro-war messages on the wall and were refused, they proceeded to spray paint their messages on the grass. The SUL students then covered the messages with anti-Bush banners. Staff photo by JIM GENARO
