GREER, S.C. — The inaugural Greer Arts & Eats Festival — free to the public — will be held 5-10 p.m. Oct. 1 and noon-10 p.m. Oct. 2 in Greer City Park, 301 E. Poinsett St., in downtown Greer.

The gala will feature arts and crafts from local artisans, children’s interactive activities, live demonstrations and health screenings.

The Oct. 1 schedule of musical performers is as follows:

• 6 p.m. — The Arcadian Wild

• 8 p.m. — The Steel Wheels

The Oct. 2 schedule of music performers is as follows:

• Noon — The Scatterlings

• 2 p.m. — Vilai Harrington & the Hamptones

• 4 p.m. — Amongst the Trees

• 6 p.m. — Crawford & Power

• 8 p.m. — Jon Stickley Trio
