HENDERSONVILLE — Dance partners Ed Shevranik and  Bobbi Annino recently were awarded blue ribbons for winning the small-group division at the 2021 Four Seasons Senior Games/Silver Arts/Performing Arts competition in Hendersonville. 

All performers in the competition were required to be residents of Henderson County — and ages 50 and older. The event was organized by Henderson County Parks and Recreation and is sanctioned through North Carolina Senior Games.

“Not only did we win our division, but we also won best in show,” Shevranik told the Daily Planet. “This qualifies us to participate in the State Championships” on Sept. 25.
