A subsidiary of Ingles Markets on Aug. 17 purchased the Innsbruck Mall property on Tunnel Road in East Asheville for $8.3 million.

The mall property was transferred to Sky King Inc., a company that lists its address at 2913 U.S. Highway 70, Black Mountain, which is the site of Ingles’ corporate offices and distribution center.

As for the transfer, “a hotel is slated for construction in the Innsbruck Mall parking lot,” the Asheville Citizen Times reported.
