It’s time to end the lockdowns

It is time to put an end to the draconian lockdown measures that are being imposed on us by the state.

I have said that social distancing and mask wearing are the tip of the totalitarian spear. What I see around me daily is very disheartening. The mad-masked Covidians are taking over.

Journalist Jon Rappaport has reported that in a Pennsylvania case filed against Governor (Tom) Wolf and his lockdowns, the judge has essentially ruled that no emergency is so great that it supersedes individual liberty and freedom.

I agree! We all should agree. How could an unrealistic fear of germs and contact with the environment cause us to give up our liberties and freedom so easily where the statistics do not support the state’s pandemic theory?

This virus of fear has caused us to lose our sanity and I, for one, do not want to live in a world where we are afraid to go outside into the fresh air and sunshine breathing openly and freely while hugging our neighbors, families and friends.

We must wake up from this Orwellian nightmare.

Unmask yourself, hug your neighbor. I regret that I have but one mask to remove for my country.

Come on, man (Biden), open up on your stand on issues

I am working very hard on the decision of who to vote for in the coming presidential election.

Full disclosure — I voted for the current president last election due to the issues with the opponent (Hillary) Clinton.

I have never agreed with all the presidents statements or positions and voted against Clinton.

In the 2020 election the decision is difficult due to the lack of clarity on the part of Mr. (Joe) Biden. His having been on both sides of most issues — how can I know what I am supporting with my vote.?

The more recent statement from Biden — that the voters do not deserve to know his position on adding justices to the U.S. Supreme Court (court-packing) until after he may be elected — is absurd.

I am not willing to buy a car without knowing about the options and cost and the Supreme Court is more important than a vehicle.

COME ON, MAN, just tell us your position on the issue. Will you support adding justices or not support the concept?

Other issues are similar and Biden is on both sides of the issue, such as eliminate oil drilling and fracking or not, Senate filibuster elimination or not, defund or support law enforcement, eliminate the Electoral College or not, (adding) new states to the union or not, amnesty for the DACA folks or not, open borders or not, China position, Green New Deal or not, sanctuary cities support or not, 2nd Amendment support or remove our guns and now we learn he may have assisted Hunter (Biden, his son), selling access as VP.

COME ON, MAN, just state unequivocally your positions so we can make a voting decision.

Are you safer today than you were four years ago?

If the main role of government is to keep us safe from threats both foreign and domestic, ask yourself: Are you safer today than you were four years ago?

• Are you confident that the government can protect you and your family from the pandemic that’s ravaging our country? When your children go to school, are you filled with confidence? Or concern? Are you sure the spread of this disease is under control?

• Is our economy strong, or do you worry about recession? Are you still employed? If so, is your job secure?

• Do you have health insurance? If so, are you confident you’ll be able to afford it in the future?

• Is Social Security safe? And Medicare? If you’re not taking benefits now, are you sure they’ll be there when you do need them?

• Do you feel safe about our role in the world? Or do you worry America is losing its influence?

• How confident are you that your children’s future will be filled with opportunity?

If you feel more safe and more secure today than you did four years ago, you should vote for the status quo. Otherwise, you must vote for change on Nov. 3 (or earlier).

That means Joe Biden for president; Cal Cunningham for senator, and Moe Davis for U.S. House representative (NC-11). These Democrats represent change. And as Democrats, supporting them may be difficult for some. But unusual times often call for unusual, even uncomfortable, measures.

So consider your family, your neighbors and your community and ask yourself. “Do you feel safer today than you did four years ago?”

That’s not just a fair question. This year, it’s the most important question you can ask.

Don’t fall for the promises of the left, reader cautions

A white New York Baptist minister yesterday (Oct. 23) stated that the U.S. Constitution was a “White Supremacist” document.

Her statement was part of an interview that FOX conducted on various segments of the Second Debate between Trump and Biden, specifically the discourse on racial equality.

Her statement immediately brought to mind Nakita Khrushchev’s address to the United Nations in 1959....”Your children’s children will live under communism. You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright; but, we will keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you will finally wake up and find you already have Communism.

“We will not have to fight you. We will so weaken your economy, until you will fall like overripe fruit into our hands. The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”

At that time (the 1950s), the word “communism” was feared throughout our nation.

If we look at every country that gave up its freedoms to socialism, those countries have succumb to even worse government control in the name of dictatorships, Nazism, fascism, and, more radically, communism.

How do you create a Socialist State? The Communist Party USA in the mid-1960s laid out its agenda to take over our democratic form of government and to enslave us under communist dictates.

Their agenda called for eight levels of control:

1) Healthcare — Control healthcare and you control the people,

2) Poverty — Increase the poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them.

3) Debt — Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

4) Gun Control — Remove the ability to defend themselves from the government . That way you are able to create a police state.

5) Welfare — Take control of every aspect (food, housing, income) of their lives because that will make them fully dependent on the government.

6) Education — Take control of what people read, listen to and take control of what children learn in school.

7) Religion — Remove the belief in God from the government and schools because the people need to believe in ONLY the government knowing what is best for the people.

8) Class Warfare — Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. Eliminate the middle class. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to tax the rich with the support of the poor.

Here is our scary future: Six of those levels are already being pushed and nearly accepted by most Americans. The CPUSA has taken advantage of China’s release of Covid-19 to help cement these levels into our culture and to further push is agenda.

They are doing this by attempting to put far-left politicians in key government positions, erasing and rewriting history, destroying monuments in the name of social justice, and more dramatically replacing law enforcement with “kinder social programs” that do nothing to stop violent crime, drugs, child exploitation, or provide you with protection from government or criminals.

Tyrants to take over our country. As this coming election draws nearer each day, put aside your emotional feelings, engage your minds, and vote for the person who has done more than his opponent for you and your nation.

Are you awake?

I hope you are!

Extreme libertarians hiding among conservatives ripped

What insults my intelligence the most about many (not all) of today’s political “conservatives” is how many of them are extreme libertarians and how many of them try to hide the fact from the American people that they are what I refer to as “Survival-of-the-Fittest” Social Darwinists who would love to abolish every single federal government social program that helps the poor, the near-poor, the lower-classes, and the middle-classes —especially Social Security, which is the one that they hate the most.

March Across Dixie from Asheville? Enlightening

Oct. 14 marked the 18-year anniversary day that the Historic March Across Dixie would begin from the cenotaph of the Honorable Zebulon B. Vance in downtown Asheville, North Carolina.

And, thankfully, Terry Lee Edgerton would once again shoulder the cost and began playing —  via Spectrum TV—  the documentary of this historic event.

Terry Lee is now soliciting funding help to continue broadcasting this event all the way back to Austin, Texas.

On Thursday (Oct. 15), I would begin traveling to the Cradle of the Confederacy for my annual education sabbatical, and several speaking engagements.

And, I certainly want to thank Eric the truck-driver who came to my aid after a brand new tire blew out, and would take a Ph.D. to figure out how to change it.

And not to forget the husband and wife business-owners who allowed me to remain in their driveway for over three hours.  Or, the Tire Doctor organization who sold me a tire after the new one was deemed un-repairable.

On Friday morning (Oct. 16), I would find myself in conversation with several very prominent ladies of Marion, Alabama; one of whose family name stills remains on the building that houses the Anderson-Barnes Antiques & Collectibles from which we now gathered.

We would speak of those who now enter the South with the sole purpose of disturbing the peace. And the sacrilege they bring with the desecration and removal of the Memorials to our sacred dead. I will share those conversations in my upcoming book.

Later in the evening, accompanied by the Honorable Gary Johnson, my host for the week’s activities, we made our way to Auburn, Alabama, where I would speak to the members of the Honorable Robert E. Lee Camp 16 Sons of Confederate Veterans, their families, and guests who would come from far and near to hear me speak…..

“(Confederate States of America) President (Jefferson) Davis said: ‘Nothing fills me with deeper sadness than to see a Southern man apologizing for the defence we made of our inheritance & denying the great truths on which all our institutions were founded.

“‘To be crushed by superior force, to be robbed & insulted, were great misfortunes, but these could be borne while there still remained manhood to assert the truth, and a proud consciousness in the rectitude of our course. When I find myself reviled by Southern papers as one renewing ‘dead issues,’ the pain is not caused by the attack upon myself, but by its desecration of the memories of our Fathers & those of their descendants who staked in defence of their rights -- their lives, their property & their sacred honor.

“‘To deny the justice of their cause, to apologize for its defence, and denounce it as a dead issue, is to take the last of their stakes, that for which they were willing to surrender the other.’”

I would later thank the camp members, its commander, the Honorable Jay Hinton, and all who would show me an evening of great generosity and kindness.

Brave new world is here; totalitarianism reigns in U.S.

I read the Asheville Daily Planet editors’ opinion column in which Daily Planet editors opine that 21st century America is coming to resemble the totalitarian countries in the dystopian science-fiction novels “1984” (by George Orwell) and “Brave New World” (by Aldous Huxley).

Actually, what is going down is this:

• The brave new world has arrived.

• And so has the brave new future.

And the brave new world and the brave new future have transformed America into a brave new America!

And as a result, America, increasingly, resembles a dark, bleak, dystopian, totalitarian, futuristic world.

Fiction has become fact.

Orwell saw it coming.

Huxley saw it coming.

Ray Bradbury saw it coming.

And a brave new America is a composite of the age of big brother and the brave new world and brave new future. If you would get a bird’s eye look, that’s what you’d see.

And if you could see the forests through the trees, that’s what you’d see.

You’d see that big brother is here.

And you’d see that the brave new world has arrived.

And you’d see that the brave new future also has arrived.

And finally you’d see that the age of big brother and the arrival of the brave new world and the brave new future have ruined America ... and as a direct result, it increasingly resembles dystopian science-fiction novels, Hollywood dystopian science-fiction films and dystopian video games.

I begged and reasoned with Americans for years to read the book, “A Government of Wolves The Emerging American Police State” (by John W. Whitehead), so you would understand what is going on, so you could do something about it before it was too late.

But the terrorists are right about you Americans being Satanic! And pure evil!

So I renounce and denounce America and switch sides and allegiances — and I am now a nonviolent Islamic State member, instead of an American!

This is my final letter.

Moe Davis' vile tweets make him unfit for office, reader says

You may be familiar with at least one of many violent tweets against Republicans by Moe Davis in which he states:

"We stomp their scrawny, pasty necks with our heels and, once you hear the sound of a crisp snap you grind your heel hard and twist it slowly side to side for good measure. He needs to know who whupped his ass."

Moe's Twitter account is filled with dozens of vile, profane, vulgar tweets. Read them for yourself at www.moetaxes.com/twitter.  Such juvenile behavior reflects Moe's true character. This man cannot possible look beyond intense prejudice toward anyone not registered as a Democrat to equally serve all the people of the N.C. 11th Congressional District in Washington.

Moe moved to our mountains just a year and a half ago. His perceptions were formed far from here and it is evident that he does not know or understand our views and our values.

Madison Cawthorn (Davis' Republican opponent) is an eighth-generation WNC native. His ancestors settled her, raised their families and shed their blood for this land we call home. Our heritage is ingrained in Madison Cawthorn.

Unlike senior-citizen Moe Davis, Madison Cawthorne is a political outsider who will bring a fresh, young perspective to Washington. We already have way too many old politicians with rigid ideas and self-serving interests in Congress.

Moe Davis was denied a miltary service medal because his service "has not been honorable" when his conduct "was putting self above service." To read more about Moe's less-than-honorable service and other shameful deeds during his career, visit www.moetaxes.com/terrorist-defender.

Moe Davis has revealed his true colors — and they are not red, white and blue.

When Madison Cawthorn announced his decision to represent the people of the 11th Congressional District, he had this message for usL

"I make this solemn promise to those of you in Western North Carolina: If you elect me, I will boldly and passionately defend our values and traditions in Washington, D.C. I will not cower in fear behind big names our outside money."

I am registered as an unaffiliated and I am voting to elect Madison Cawthorn to Congress.
